| FAQs
What services are available to non-members?
Membership is not a barrier to any of the services offered by the church. The pastor is ready to provide marriage and funeral services to all persons. This also includes the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. Some counseling may be required before performing weddings or administering baptisms. Baptisms are open to persons of all ages, and customarily take place during Sunday worship.
Is the church building available for private functions or rentals?
The church does provide space when available to groups who would like to use it. Such use must conform to the general policies and principles of the United Methodist Church (e.g, no gambling, no alcohol). The church is also a smoke-free facility. For building use, contact the church administrator at 781-861-9301, or email her at office@lexumc.org.
What help does the church provide to persons with urgent financial need?
The church offers emergency assistance to persons through the Lexington Interfaith Clergy Association. The pastor is also willing to help needy persons identify other sources of assistance.
