| We are pleased to have welcomed six new members to the Lexington United Methodist Church family on Sunday, November 11th. From left to right, the new members are Jason and Janice Cole, Alice Cho, Mark Hawk, and Kathy Parks. Also joining, but missing from the photo, is Jean Prusko. Brief biographies of these new members are below the photo. |

| Janice and Jason Cole live in Waltham
and are both graduates of Bentley College. Janice is a senior analyst
and Jason is an accountant. He is a former member of the United Methodist
Church in Sidney, New York. His interests include sports and traveling.
Alice Cho lives in Arlington and speaks fluent Korean. She has a graduate degree in developmental psychology. Alice has worked as a research consultant for the General Board of Global ministries and is now employed as a marketing analyst. She enjoys singing and hiking. Alice is the daughter of a UMC minister in Denver, Colorado. Mark Hawk has two sons, Andrew age 9 and Liam age 5. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California and works as a software engineer for Broadvision. Mark is transferring from the Clear Lake City South Baptist Church in Texas. He lives in Lexington and his interests include woodworking, cooking, animals, the outdoors, and working with cub Scouts. Kathy Parks is a program manager for Rational Software. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in English and a master’s degree from Boston University. Previously she attended The United Methodist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland and now lives in Lexington. She is already active in our church community and teaches in our Church School in the Godly Play program. Both she and her son, James, were baptized on November 11th. Kathy enjoys jewelry making, writing, and biking. Jean Prusko is transferring her membership from the United Methodist Church in New Milford, Connecticut. She graduated from the University of Connecticut and is a homemaker. She lives in Lexington and has two children, Gabrielle, age 1, and Anna, age 2. |
