Similarly, the Whole People of God class for third through fifth graders is also off to a good start. Four to eight kids have attended each week. While the schedule of Sunday School during worship is new, the kids seem to be adjusting just fine. The Youth kicked off their year with a brunch at the parsonage. The Middle School will be working with the Whole People of God curriculum emphasizing diversity and social justice, while the High School has committed to reading through much of the Bible while studying the Disciple Bible study curriculum. Children and Youth are welcome to join Sunday School classes at anytime. If you haven’t come yet, now is the time. Your teachers and fellow students look forward to seeing you. Our joint service with St. John’s is coming up on October 7. LUMC’s Children and Youth will join St. John’s classes and continue to get to know their Korean peers. Since we will be meeting with St. John’s on the first Sunday of this month, there will not be an intergenerational service this month. Remember, though, that children pre-school through fifth grade should go right to their Sunday School class on Sunday mornings. Thanks for a great start. Please join us for these enriching and diverse programs. Grace and Peace,
